Another unique feature of the computer interface is that each panel (profile, conversations, and preferences) slides behind the previously used panel. It also has some of the same features you would get in the phone app, such as notifications.

I found it was easier to access the Tinder app on the computer rather than only using the phone application. It was not very convenient for me to have to switch back and forth between the two. In creating the computer application, the user is allowed to specify the gender preference of their potential match, whereas the phone application does not allow that feature.
